Duncan’s childhood passed living in a single room together with his mom-dad & siblings within a big house communal with further 6 families. As a kid, he was admitted to the Dalmuir Primary School & was later sent to the Clydebank High School following the Eleven plus exam. There, he just enjoyed the woodwork & Physical Education (PE) & dropped out at the age of 15 without earning any qualifications.

Acting has recently become Duncan Bannatyne’s hobby. He has earned famed for playing a business angel in the popular BBC sitcom “Dragons’ Den”. He has also landed roles in few more on- screen ventures, including “The big Fat Quiz of the 00s” (2012) & “The Wright Stuff” (2000), among others.
