Samuel L. Jackson is the only child of Roy Henry Jackson & his wife, Elizabeth (nee Montgomery). He was born on 21st December, 1948 in Washington, D. C., the capital of United States. However, his upbringing was in the City of Chattanooga in Tennessee. All through his childhood, his dad lived in Missouri’s Kansas City, away from the home & family, & later passed on from alcoholism. Samuel just met his dad twice throughout his life. Hence, he was brought up by his mom, who formally worked in a factory & later served as a mental institution’s supplies buyer. During his early age, he studied at many segregated school & finally earned his graduation degree from the Riverside High School, located at Chattanooga. Formally plan on earning a marine biology degree, Samuel went to the Atlanta’s Morehouse College. After getting enrolled at an area acting group so as to collect additional points in study, he found his mind in acting & soon buttoned his major. Earlier to his graduation at age 24, he co- formed the “Just Us Theatre”. He is wedded to his beloved LaTanya Richardson since the 1980, with whom the actor has a beautiful daughter named Zoe.

Soon after his graduation in 1972, Samuel L. Jackson made his professional acting debut appearing as Stan in “Together for Days”, a movie by director Michael Schultz. His first television role arrived few years later, in 1976, with a small part in a single episode of “Movin’ On”, followed by his portrayal as Sulk in the 1977 released TV movie “The Displaced Person”. He went on throwing one upon another roles on both big & small screen & subsequently achieved eminence & critical acclaim during the early 90s, with movies such as “Patrioy Games” (1992), “Jungle Fever” (1991), “Amos & Andrew” (1993), “Jurassic Park” (1993), “True Romance” (1993) & his alliances with Quentin Tarantino, a prominent director in the movies “Jackie Brown” (1997) & “Pulp Fiction” (1994). Samuel is an extremely prolific actor, landing roles in more than 100 films, counting “Shaft” (2000), “Unbreakable” (2000), “Die Hard with a Vengeance” (1995), “The 51st State” (2001), “Snakes on a Plane” (2006), “Black Snake Moan” (2006), the Star Wars prequel trilogy” (1999- 2005), “Iron Man 2” (2010), “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” (2014), & “Marvel’s The Avengers” (2012), among numerous others.

With Samuel’s permission, his likeness was used for ‘Ultimate Nick Fury’, the Marvel Worldwide Inc. character in the US media franchise & shared fictional universe, “Marvel Cinematic Universe”, since 2008. Samuel has earned commercial & critical acclaim, outshining Franklin Welker as the star with the maximum grossing movie sum of all time during 2011 October & he has earned numbers of awards & accolades.
