Behind the departure of Mutya Buena in “Sugababes”, a popular music group, Amelle was twined in as an alternate by the band’s management. She worked together with the band for 6 long years, i.e. from the December of 2005 until 2011. 2011 was the very year when “Sugababes” took a break so as to pursue individual ventures. After earning a wide fame with the band, it was quite easier for Amelle to establish a career as a solo music artist. She garnered a solo No. 1 single in the year 2009 following collaboration with fellow artist Tinchy Stryder on “Never Leave You”, establishing her as the original & to date solitary member of “Sugababes” to earn No. 1 single off the band. Alongside working with numbers of popular artists, she also made her appearances on few television shows. Around the mid of 2014, this singer was seen as a contender in “Tumble”, the BBC network’s celebrity gymnastics program.

Even as Amelle Berrabah looks quite younger to her age, she has revealed herself to be a married woman. She tied knot with Marcio Sousa Rosa on October 17, 2014. Earlier to this, she was revealed to be in a husband & wife relationship with Freddie Fuller for a couple of years, i.e. from 2006 until their divorce in 2008.
