Steven Seagal was raised at his birth city Lansing, Michigan, United States till his 5. Later his full family shifted to California where he studied at the Buena Park High School, located at Buena Park. His 1930’s born mother, Patricia Seagal passed away at her 73 where as his father, who was born on 1928 died on 1991. During the early days, his mother worked as a medical technician & his father was a math teacher at a nearby high school. Since his early youth, Steven Seagal started working as a restaurant’s dishwasher; he owned the job lying about his actual age. A Japanese cook in a restaurant introduced Steven to the fundamentals of karate. He then joined Aikido & became a 7th dan black belt. Afterwards he started his mature life in Japan as an Aikido tutor, making himself the very first foreign citizen to run a dojo for Aikido in Japan. Steven later headed towards Los Angeles, California where he landed his first film role in 1988’s ‘Above the law’. Till 1991, he acted in 3 successful movies & earned larger fame in the 1992 film ‘Under Siege’. When Steven reached his 59, he came back to the large screen portraying Torrez in ‘Machete’, a 2010 action comedy film. He was then seen in the 3rd season of 2011’s ‘Steven Seagal: Lawman’, a television reality show.
