Around the early of 80s, Randy Jackson played on 3 different albums for Jean- Luc Ponty & together with “Taxxi”, the rock group. From 1986 until the next year, he worked as a session musician of “Journey”, the rock band. During the late of 80s, he was continuing doing sessions & was firstly noted on the initial solo collection by Steve Lukather, a celebrated session guitarist. Being an original judge, he made an announcement about his departure from the show after 12 long seasons reasoning his wants to concentrate on multiple business ventures.
