Belonging to a royal family, her father was the ostensible Nawab of Pataudi for 19 long years (1952- 1971) who later served as the player & captain for the Indian cricket team, & her mother is a widely accepted Indian actress. She has 2 elder siblings, a sister named Saba Ali Khan who is a professional jewellery designer & a brother named Saif Ali Khan, who is famed as one of the gleaming stars of Bollywood. As a child, Soha went to The British School, in New Delhi & subsequently attended modern history classes at the Balliol College, Oxford. She is the Masters graduate of the London School of Economics and Political Science, with a major in International Relationships.

In the year 2004, the gorgeous Indian beauty debuted as an actress with her roles as Neha & Kamallata in the Bollywood romantic drama movie “Dil Maange More” & the Bengali period drama movie “Iti Srikanta”.
